Raising Kane- How WrestleMania SHOULD be booked (by a guy who has a tattoo of Kane’s mask on his shoulder)

On SmackDown and ECW Matt Striker accuses Kane of losing his edge. Striker says things like “You aren’t the monster you once were! Where’s the man who tombstoned Vince’s wife, Linda? Where’s the man who threw Matt Hardy off the stage? Where’s the man who lit Jim Ross on fire? Where’s the man who hooked up a car battery to Shane’s balls? Where is that man?” Of course this is all until Kane hears enough of it and opts to have a no DQ tag match vs. Big Daddy V and Mark Henry.
No one would think that Kane would win it, but he somehow pulls it off. With both men on the mat Kane looks under the ring and finds a can of gasoline. He brings it into the ring, and the announcers are going nuts, talking about how Kane will burn down the entire arena if he gets a chance.
However, a swarm of refs and suits storm the ring, preventing any fire.
In the weeks before the Royal Rumble all feuds escalate. Jericho and JBL are bent on destroying each other, Vince is sending Mr. Kennedy out to beat Triple H, Triple H is going after Orton, and The Undertaker and Batista keep blaming the other one for Edge winning the title. All of these feuds have “Main Event Quality” written all over it.
Weeks before the Royal Rumble it’s The Undertaker and Batista vs. Edge and The Edge Heads (The Majors). Due to sloppy team work The Undertaker gets pinned by one of the Edge Heads. Vickie comes out and announces that due to the fact that The Undertaker got pinned in that match at the Royal Rumble it’ll be Batista vs. Edge.
Backstage at the Royal Rumble, before the Rumble match starts (possibly after a Diva’s match) the announcers start saying “We have some breaking news in the locker room, let’s take you to it!”
There’s a lot of commotion going on and Mark Henry is laid out on the floor, with his head in the doorway. Kane kicks the door, “crushing” Mark Henry’s skull.
This is done with careful editing and splicing. The door can’t fully shut, but all we see is Kane kick the door, and then Kane pushes the cameraman down. There are some technical difficulties and then it the camera pans to Mark Henry, face down in a puddle of blood.
Needless to say this year’s Royal Rumble will only have 29 people.
28 and a half if Hornswoggle is in it.
The last Four people in the Royal Rumble match are Triple H, The Undertaker, Kane, and HBK. Almost at once sides are taken and all four men go at it for a good 10 mins. The Undertaker takes out HBK, Kane takes out The Undertaker and HHH.
Batista loses his match VS Edge due to a run in by The Undertaker. This sets up for The Undertaker vs. Batista at WM.
A few weeks down the line Kane announces that he’ll be challenging Edge for the WHC. He cuts a promo saying something like “This is deeper than just a title. This is my time for my fire to burn, and though the years Edge has been throwing more and more fuel on that fire. Edge has hurt me deeper than anyone else, and at WrestleMania I’m going to take everything from Edge. His title, his health, his career, and his life. This fire Burns, and so will you!”
At No Way Out it’s Kane vs. The Edge Heads in a no DQ handicap match. Kane just kills them. He doesn’t win by pinfall. The ref just calls the match. Too much blood, too much gore, Kane has just lost it. Edge comes out to make the save, but backs off when Kane looks him in the eyes. Whomever is calling the match talks about the look of fear in Edge’s eyes.
Going into WrestleMania Kane becomes the monster he once was. To hype up Kane vs. Edge we hear interviews from wrestlers. Mark Henry talks about how if he were to fear one man, it would be Kane. The Undertaker talks about how Kane is a heartless soul. Hell, bring in Lita and have her talk about how when Kane is a monster he has no sorrow.
At this point the only people that are backing up Edge are The Edge Heads.
The week before WrestleMania it’s Pick Your Poison. Both Kane and Edge want to pick The Undertaker. Kane gives in with a grin on his face as he says he’ll face The Undertaker. It doesn’t matter who Edge faces that night, Kane beats The Undertaker cleanly in the ring.


At WM give Kane and Edge a good 30 mins. This isn’t a squash. It just turns into total chaos as the ref gets knocked down after 15 mins. And by down, I mean over the top rope onto the mat. Both men take advantage of it. Kane clearly has the win, but there’s no ref.
The Edge Heads hit the ring and do some damage. Edge spears Kane, the ref gets back up, and your winner, and STILL champion, Edge.

This is meant to be open ended. Yes, I want to see Kane win a major title and hold it for more than just one day, but at WrestleMania? Who the fuck am I kidding? He’ll win it at the next PPV.
