Is it just me, or is the reporter generally disinterested in the WWE? Why is he attending one of their shows?
Heat sounds pretty fucking good to me, actually. Brian Kendrick vs. Nick Nemeth would be a good match, and DH Smith being over at least sounds interesting (it reminds me of how Bobby Lashley originally got his push). Plus, Drew McIntyre makes his debut with the RAW brand, facing Charlie Haas in a luchadore mask. I'm at least interested in the sound of that. Make Heat cool again, Vince. RAW sounds boring, although it features Matt Hardy. It would have been a smart move to have Jeff Hardy get distracted with the video of Orton kicking Matt in the head, and get rolled up by Santino for three. Use it to switch the IC Title to Marella, and add heat to the WWE Title feud. That whole angle kind of muddies the water now, because logically, Matt Hardy is now out because of both MVP and Randy Orton. He should want revenge on both of them. Either they have to give Matt a hitman type gimmick, righting the wrongs against everyone who has violated him (which would be pretty cool), or they have to put them into the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania. Or we'll have to get a tag team match between The Hardys and Orton & MVP. Or some kind of Fatal Fourway. The William Regal stuff sounds interesting, too. By the sounds of it, he'd now have heat with both Ric Flair and Triple H. He attacked Flair, and saved Flair's career over the expense of Triple H's spot in the Royal Rumble (hey, Triple H lost the match, so he should be out of it). I think the best we can hope for is a double disqualification, with Regal working matches with Flair and Triple H over the next few editions of RAW. Worst case scenario is that Triple H is out of the Rumble Match, and either wins the WWE Title at No Way Out, or wins the Elimination Chamber. |
