If you think Edge is a good heel for the Matt Hardy thing, then you pretty much think that the Miz is a good heel for being the Miz.

Furthermore, that would mean OJ Simpson's a great heel for killing someone. I know he'd get boo'd if he went on Smackdown.

The difference between playing the heel and doing something really bad in real life and people disliking you because of it is very distinct. Not being able to make the distinction between the two comes with not understanding how the whole fucking thing works, I guess.
