"The Rise and Fall of ECW" didn't just sell big in the North-East; it sold well all over the U.S. And more than 2500 people tuned into the first One Night Stand, and as much as JBL might want to believe it, it wasn't for him or the WWE Invasion. It was for a return to great wrestling, which is exactly what the fans got (has there been a better PPV, WWE or otherwise, since then?).

Vince is dead on the money when he says that he never had any intention of recreating the old ECW. RVD is all about the positive energy, and it was just his way of being positive when he hoped that Vince would actually listen and make the new ECW more like the old ECW, but it was foolish none-the-less.
