hope they replay it...
I caught some of Brady and Moss on the radio.. Brady w/ the woman in a wedding dress was funny. Moss w/ Stallworth asking questions was also funny. someone should tell espn, sending a 13yr old to media day to ask questions was funny like 15yrs ago. |

Seymour was trying to get Ellis Hobbs to do 5 push ups, I Hobbs lost a bet to Big Sey over the Georgia/Hawaii game and has to give him 5 push ups whenever he tells him too. They cut away before he ever did it. The NFL Network coverage was kinda shitty from what I saw, they just only focused on the star players, which is expected but I mean they barely showed anything else from anyone not named Brady, Moss or Belichick. Well they did interview Larry Izzo real quick which was pretty hilarious because he had a huge lip in and was sitting into a bottle. Steve Mariucci conducted that interview by himself off the side so that was pretty funny as well, when they where cutting away he yelled "PISAN!" They also kept cutting away randomly to the table where the analysts where talking. I dunno, we've had/will have 2 weeks of that when everything is all said and done. I would have rather just seen all the different shit going on

Just saw some of the Burress interview lol oh man
"I saw they had a pep rally before the came here, I thought they only did that in high school? I left all that back in Virgina Beach" Then I guess he predicted the score before he left, not really THAT bad but everyone was looking for a lil something something and I think that'll be it. I wish somebody would have made a Freddy Mitchell type comment though, that was one of the best ever. |

I just got on ESPN radio and talked about my prediction for unsung hero of the Superbowl. Pretty sick, didn't think I would get through. I said Justin Tuck.

LOL, Tom Brady is going to sit in the pocket and have a field day with the Giants weak secondary, he's going to systematically pick them apart. This isn't some second year QB, or a 38 year old QB playing in -20 conditions, this is the best QB of our generation, and arguably ever. The giants might score some points, but there is no way they are stopping the offensive juggernaut that is the New England Patriots.

The fewest points the patriots scored all season was 20 and they had 38 last time against the Giants. What makes him think they are only scoring 17?

The Giants wont be able to win with their d-line alone like seemingly every giant fan believes they will. Plus they wont be able to stack the line anyway since they will have to drop into coverage to try their best to cover the pats wide recievers.

I mean I don't think Brady is gonna sit there, but the majority of the Patriots offensive line is going to the Pro Bowl....

Why couldn't Burress jus say "yea Pats will kill us 50-0, they are that damn good, we have no chance". And then of course fire up his team behind closed doors. And when has a Patriot ever predicted a win, it's always one of the other dummies.

Why not just say nothing? Why predict any type of score? You can still be entertaining without doing that garbage.

Tom Brady is going to have a field day unless Lawrence Taylor , Carl Banks , and Pepper Johnson come out of retirement and gang rape him on sunday.

I hate the fact that Burress guaranteed a win and predicted a score (tho tbh he even said he got his score from 23 being his HS or college number and 17 being his current number). It's gonna be much higher scoring than that. |

I'm not totally sold the Patriots will win this game. I seriously think theres something to be said about that week 17 matchup being so close and the fact that New York has won 10 straight road games this year, including in Dallas and Green Bay in a Blizzard. And all my Manning love aside, lets be honest, Eli can dodge bullets right now. This guy is lights out. He's become the man. I also just get the feeling the football Gods are behind Tom Coughlin this year. After all the shit he's put up with coaching this team. All the shit he's had to deal with. You realise this guy practically battled the entire team to believe in him for like 3 years. And he finally won. Takes some real balls to hang in like Coughlin has with the Giants. Takes balls for Eli to step up like he has finally after all the critisim and the Tiki bs.
I think the Giants have a serious shot to win this. There secondary isnt horrible, just rather average. The LB'ers are pretty good and they have the best defensive line in the league. This game comes down to two things to me. Can the Giants recievers keep from dropping passes and how many holding penaltys will we see called agains the Patriots. There O-line gets away with murder. I mean, most plays might be considered some sort of holding, but they've show replay during games of the Pats Oline literally tackling guys and no flags. There a great offensive line for sure. Probably the best, but seriously, some of the holding penalty's they've gotten away with were unbelievable. Like Troy Polamalu incomplete pass ruling, unbelievable. |

Not laughing because of you saying the Giants have a shot, I think they do, but the way they are going about it is hilarious.
I don't see how winning 10 straight road games gives them an advantage.....Patriots won 18 straight games.... |

The Patriots are the Patriots. Everyone expected them to be the best team and win the Superbowl even before they won there first game. No one expected the Giants to be as good as they are and for them to win 10 straight road games, including the ones in the playoffs is very very impressive. |

I dunno, I would think the game would come down to the Patriots stopping the Giants rushing attack and the Giants being to able get the Patriots' offense off the field. That's just me though |

also keep in mind 3/5ths of the OL for the Pats didn't play against the Giants.
on a seperate issue... must be slow in polotics... Arlen Spector wants to investigate why godell ordered the spygate tape to be destroyed. Kinda funny the NY Times run this story the friday before the super bowl... on another side note... the Patriots applied for 2 trademarks. "19-0" and "19-0 the perfect season". They applied for it 3days before the AFC championship game, so the NY papers is using this as the "see, the Pats slipped up and made a prediction" The Pats have been already going after unlicensed merchandise, and they got shutdown a sight www.19and0.org this is nothing new... John Calapari trademarked "refuse to lose" and Pat Rilley owns the rights to "threepeat" even funnier is in response the NY post trade markeked "18-1" |
