I generally see what's new by receiving it in at work. I put out the new releases, so I know what's going on. Other than that, I'll check out what my friends listen to, what like minded posters here listen to, or shit that I just randomly check out because the cover caught my eye or the name of the band was cool.

I'd recommend some metal to you, but I'm mostly into black/death metal and I don't think it would be your style. I guess check out Death, though. Sounds of Perseverance.

Did not know this man, if your into Metal, not sure if its your style, but check out

Silent Civilian
- The Song Remains Un-Named
- Rebirth of The Temple
- Dead To Me 2006
- Force Fed

You may like them, I particulary recommend the first.
