They kinda split up in WWE and had a one month program with X-Pac and HHH in there as well over the rights to DX. It didn't last long because WWE knew that neither are money.

BG James vs. Kip James isn't really a draw. Bad Ass Billy Gunn vs. Road Dogg would have been a decent draw in the Attitude era. Today it's just another of TNA's continuous WWE-related abortions that won't go anywhere worthwhile.

Yeah, they should be cut with Black Reign. They arent draws as a name anymore, an it makes TNA look bad to a new fan. Some random guy watching will think that TNA is full of has beens rather than being like "oh wow, whats this new stuff?"

I have liked the Joe/Angle build. Even though i hate the "if I lose I quit" stpulation, but overall it's been enjoyable.

They don't really have too much riding on it, to be fair. It'd mid-card stuff. It may seem like they do, but that's because the WWE doesn't have a mid-card anymore, so we're not used to it.

To be honest, it's been done really well. Everything in it has been justified. BG James won the TNA World Tag Team Championship shot with that Feast or Fired thing, which was pretty stupid, admittedly. Then he told Kip James that he might be challenging with another partner, which was pretty stupid. Then he challenged with his father, who is awesome, but a skeleton. They lost the match, and Kip James looked to be all cool with everything, but then he snapped and attacked BG James and "Bullet" Bob Armstrong.

Then, I believe, we got these "Rough Cuts," which are pretty much short intercut videos of the guys going about their everyday lives, talking about their issues with the other, and this is where things have picked up. Kip has been calling BG "Brian," I believe, which shows how close they are, and disrespect for the stage name BG carries.

Kip has been saying that he wants to punch Brian in the face and knock him out, and when he gets up he wants to kick him in the face and send him to hospital. Then, when he gets out of hospital, he wants to punch him in the face again. Kip is pissed because he felt they had a sure-fire thing in the TNA World Tag Team Championship, and BG James threw it away because he wanted a moment with his decrepit dad.

BG James is pissed off because Kip brought his dad into this. He says he welcomes Kip James to kick his ass, but don't bring his dad into this, and don't insult his mother, becaue then shit gets personal. BG holds faith that the "brothers" need to fight it out so they can go back to being a team, and until they do they won't have things sorted, whereas Kip says he wants nothing to do with BG ever again.

It's all really human stuff. BG James doesn't hold much spite out of it, and is keeping an open mind; Kip is being more of an asshole and just wanting to kick BG's ass and move on with his life.

I'm almost sort of looking forward to the match. If there was a lot of good stuff around it (and at Lockdown there will be), it might not actually be that bad to watch. You know, assuming that BG James has been using his Rough Cuts time to train, and get into further ring shape. I was a Billy Gunn mark back in the day, so Kip James has the potential to entertain me if he's not being shit.

I can understand why people might dismiss this, seeing as The Voodoo Kin Mafia have been lame as fuck, but it's really not a bad storyline.

I hate them, and think they need to be fired,

But I do agree that the angle has been done well. It is a great fued, the players are just lacking.

I've seen far more contradicting posters. You're up there, too. Given that half your arguments ironically contain the same flaws as other people's. You say it's a stupid thing to complain about it, I say it's a stupid thing to do it.

And they were a part of the 4 Live Kru, or whatever the fuck they where when it was BG James, Ron Killings, Konnan and Kip James. I think Kip James left the group, so that could be counted as a "break-up" I guess. They weren't really a tag team at the time, though.

I'm not even sure that feud came to blows.
