The reason that we don't want prostitution is that half our politicians are pretending to be holier than thou. Of course, the ones who speak so loudly are usually the ones fucking hookers, men, and children. But still, it's not a financial issue. It's a morality issue. Drugs are not legal for multiple reasons. First, Tobacco and Beer don't want omre competition. Second, most of the drugs we use now would be illegal if they weren't already institutionalised. IT's just impossible to get rid of the ones that have lobbies and billion dollar industries. We're a nation of prudes and puritans. But if it were legal? We'd tax the fuck out of it. That's why we keep raising the taxes on tobacco. Because we're a nation that loves to take money from the people. |
