I am a huge fan of this new car. These past few years have been some of the best years Auto Racing has seen in a while. Well, at least NASCAR. I don't follow Indy/CART much anymore, though I used to be huge on it. Thought it was cool how a lot of long-time open wheel drivers have gone to NASCAR this year too. Carpentier, Franchitti, Almendinger. Some great drivers there.

I'm not really taking anything away from her, hell she probably should have won a race or 2 last year. The only thing i'm saying is that if she would have went out and dominated by kicking all of their butts, she would have really made a statement. By watching alot of races, almost anyone can win a fuel mileage race. That's how Casey Mears got his first victory in Cup last year.

Why bring up a best car argument then? I don't really watch Indy but say if she was in F1 driving for Red Bull or something and then won a race without the Ferrari's and McLaren's dropping out dropping out I'd be very impressed she won a race. In fact, I'd be impressed if anyone did male or female.

I've said numerous fucking time that it's not a sport if a woman can compete with a man. just because you hillibillies enjoy watch one big left turn for three hours doesn't make it a sport. I'm not a bigot I"M STATING A FACT!

Let's also not ignore that you are completely generalizing ALL racing into NASCAR. Which, while I do enjoy it yes, it is not the only type of auto racing. Hell, it isn't even the only type being discussed here. Danica Patrick doesn't race NASCAR. She races Indy, which is primarily road courses.

This is an argument you will simply not win. I don't give two fucks if you like the sport. But it -is- a sport. It takes years of practice to do what these people do, and that is no different for a woman. There's a reason I said I don't think she will ever be a champion. Because I don't think she will ever be that good. But yeah she will be a competitor for years to come probably.

Like was said earlier by someone else.. let's toss you in a championship car on a champion team and see if you can take the gold. Fuck it, let's give you a month of driving school even to see if you can pick it up. Guarantee you would either wreck or finish in the last half of the field.

I don't even know why, but you have made me so angry with your stupid generalizations. I don't even own one bit of racing memorabilia, and I only watch a race once every week or two. But fuck, when people start spouting off shit about something they don't know ANYTHING about, it pisses me off. Even arguing with Kris P or Kane Knight has never made me this aggravated.

Not every sport in existence has to fit your stupid metro-sexual standards in order to be considered a sport.

just because i can't do something doesn't mean it's a sport. i can't do math worth shit, does that make it a sport?

If it were a sport a woman couldn't compete with a man. Auto racing has always been a semi sport in my book and many other peoples book, but when a female can compete with a man, it makes it even less. IT's not bigoted, it's just stating the truth.
