Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 announced (yes!). Trailer featured Iron Man and Invisible Woman doing a super-team attack I'm gonna call the "Downey Alba Blast"... just cause.

Rock Band instruments will work with GHWT. Don't know if this includes drums, though there'd be a bit of a problem there. Travis Barker is testing out the drums. Again.

I enjoyed TP. I guess it depends what you were expecting from the game. I think, if you expected the standard Zelda formula, it's enjoyable, but if you expected some kind of long unique story with massive earth shattering twists like:

Ganondorf: Link...I am your father.

Then you will be dissapointed. Yeah it was the same old story basically but most games are, no matter how many sequels come out.

My only issues with TP was the lack of anything outside the main quest and the music not being as awesome as it could have been. Look at Mario Galaxy to see how Zelda games should have the music. Namely, orchastra. If Mario can do it then surely Zelda, of all things on the Wii, should have that.

What was it that made TP ass for you guys?

Yeah, but nintendo really takes the unoriginality in plot much further than your other examples.

Which is isn't a terrible thing considering that these games are more about gameplay, and they truly deliver in that aspect.

But even thats starting to get unoriginal. For instance, how much do you wanna bet the next crop of games from Nintendos big series feature a game with light and dark worlds. Again.

Yeah, gotta disagree somewhat with Kane Knight's reservations about it. Read up on it quite a bit, and while the basic tools probably won't let you do a whole lot, the advanced mixing studio sounds really deep. Intimidatingly so.

Not going to outright say it will be a success yet, but I'm not going to write it off as a bad idea either.

There wasn't enough interactive NPC's in villages, it felt kind of lonely, especially in Kakariko Village. Lack of voice work, and the similarity to OoT didn't help ether. Not too mention the story wasn't deep enough to fully immerse yourself into the game and actually care about what happens to the characters, such a thing is possible in this genre though, Okami is proof of that.

I didn't hate the game, (could never hate a "nintendo" zelda game) but I wasn't blown away like I was with OoT or LA for instance.

The Nintendo E3 Press Conference has come and gone and many are wondering several things. Likely, one of the largest questions is where is Kid Icarus on Wii? With no reveal, news, or confirmation, it’s no surprise if people remain skeptical as to the big N's direction. However, in a recent interview conducted with Shigeru Miyamoto a ray of hope may have slipped from the mouth of Nintendo’s mastermind. When Miyamoto was asked where Kid Icarus Wii was he had the following to say with a large grin on his face: "Yeah, I'm not the producer of any Kid Icarus titles. There are some people who have some different ideas, but since I'm not the producer I can't comment on anything."

July 15, 2008 - At the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2008, we made it our mission to bombard Nintendo producer Shigeru Miyamoto with nearly unanswerable questions about possible games in development -- because, frankly, that's how we roll. Although he politely explained that he could not announce new products to us, we would not relent and we did come away with a few not-so-vague hints about projects underway. Namely, a new Pikmin title for Wii, a sequel to Mario Galaxy and a DS sequel to New Super Mario Bros.


"There isn't anything that we can announce right now, but I'm sure we'll probably do something with it," Miyamoto said of a Wii Pikmin sequel. "The Pikmin team is, of course, still there and maybe we'll have something to talk about before too long." We like the sound of that.
In regard to a new New Super Mario Bros. for DS, Miyamoto tried to throw us off guard with trickery about not being able to announce unfinished projects. "That team is also working hard," he said. "The thing that's difficult is that, as you know, the way we handle our announcement is we work on product and once the product is at a state where we feel it's ready to show to people, then that's when we're willing to talk about it. Which is why it's difficult for me to talk about different projects in interviews. I have a lot of different teams and those teams are all at different points in their experiments or development, so it's typically once they've finalized something that we're able to talk about it. But for me to go into too much detail would be a little bit irresponsible in an interview. All that I can say is that that team is also working."

When we pressed him for more, Miyamoto added, "Maybe the best thing for you to understand is that all of the leaders of those teams -- of the Mario team, of the Zelda team and of the Pikmin team -- all sit within 150 feet of my desk. The Galaxy team is the only one that's farther away -- they're in Tokyo. But I do have video conferencing with them." We stunned him with a hard-hitting follow-up: 'We don't really have a question. We just want you to make another Galaxy game.' To this, Miyamoto replied, "Leave it to me."

There is still hope for Nintendo and everyone hoping for Pikmin/Zelda/etc. Brawl wasn't announced until the day after Nintendos conference in 2006.

Miyamoto goes ahead and pretty much confirms a new Zelda and Mario for Wii.

So there's a second mario title in the works, which may be for the Wii. How are they going to come up with two Zelda titles for Wii? Don't they need a first one, first? I mean, if we're counting ports....

Anyway, if the next Mario is similar to the last, it'll rock. Just not about to get a stiffy over a potential new Zelda game.

I remember reading an interview with one of the makers of Mario Galaxy saying there were lots of things they wanted to put into Mario Galaxy, but didn't because some of them didn't feel right in the game. I'd be surprised if Nintendo released two proper Mario games on the Wii because they've only released one per system since the SNES. I'm a little disappointed that they never released a new Super Mario game for GBA.

NES = 2
SNES = 1
N64 = 2
GC = 3
Wii = 1 ( It's a port, but you know they're making another one)

I think each version of Nintendo's handhelds have had just one Zelda game, except for GBA, but one of the them is a port.
