God, the Rays are screwed without Crawford and Longoria in the lineup. Shame they probably gonna wind up coming back down to earth due to injury. I mean, for ages I saw a dropoff eventually coming...but they were making a believer out of me until now.

The sad thing is that I have been waiting for the Rays to drop off, and they havent. Injury will knock them out of first. But they are still playing top level. Crazy.

4 out of 10 on this road trip. Terrible. The Angels are one thing, I can understand that. But we should have beaten the crap out of the Rangers and the Twins. At the most, win the series with both of them.

Watching the Angels/Mariners game (right now) and they're saying Washburn and Ibanez have both been claimed on waivers. Did say by who. Raul just hit a HR as they were talking about it.

The Jays, even though they were falling out of the race were interested in Ibanez a couple weeks ago, I would LOVE it if it were my Jays that picked him up.

They waived Sexson too. They're finally purging the bench of too many bats. This is what they need, less hitters to plug in and out. I imagine come Sept, they'll both be back and they'll go through the same exercise, unless they are out of it by then.
