Agreed. Some bearhugs start out looking nasty but then the guy gets tired and then they degenerate into a legit hug before the ref can do the arm check.

Which way is a gayer bearhug? If you are facing the guy, it's like you could kiss and tell him you love him, but if you are facing the back of his head your cock is pretty much grinding his asshole, which is gay, but you could just be making him your bitch. I'm gonna go with the first one as the gayer one.
