You know, I have yet to see the pictures of the injuries sustained, or this woman's credibility (sanity issues, etc). I mean, it could be that she's lying.

I'm not supporting Austin in any means, but you can't just jump to a conclusion without seeing all the facts...

Ok, so... guess a little while ago, when Debra sold her ring, w/ some of the money going to a fund for abuse victems and everyone got all over her case, and I said how SCSA was the scum bag, and how she was abused and all... and everyones flamed me "he was never convicted" "There was no proof" and other responses...

guess I wasn't too far off...

He's scum. Sorry, doesn't mean he's not also a good performer or nice to animals, but he's scum and needs help, although a lot of reports show that people who abuse woman like people who abuse children can seek all the help they want, but in a lot of cases it doesn't work.

This arrest sure doesn't go well with his sheriff gimmick.

When is that guy going to stop? He beat up Debra, and got jail and a divorce for that. Now he's still beating up woman. Was he under the influence of alcohol when he pushed down the woman, or is he just a plain jerk, or as VonErich says, scum? This sure made me lose my respect for Austin. He needs to cool it, stop bullying people around. Maybe the sheriff gimmick got to his head. And all the beer he's drinking day in, day out doesn't really help his temper...

Wonder if its possible if she presses charges he could get some jailtime? This is his second time doing this (that we know of). Some jail time might do the asshole some good, plus get him off tv for a while with his little sheriff role which was stale as soon as it started.

I can't believe that this stupid bastard Austin did it again. It was sick enough when he did it to Debora and then fled like a coward only to have the police go easy on him since he's a stone cold. Women may not be like men, they deal with conflict in a more verbal mannor then we do and can sometimes be hard to deal with, as any man or women can. But no one has no right to harm another human being for any reason, woman, or man. I hope he goes to Jail for a little while so He can learn the diffrent between the wrestling world, and the real world.

Even if he does get jailtime when he eventually returns from it the fans will as usual act as if he's done nothing wrong. I rember the shit scott hall used to get from wwe fans shouting "alcho" and things like that during his matches, felt really bad for the guy, alcholism is a disease, slapping around a woman isn't.

And once again... this hasn't been proven, and nobody has been convicted, and again, you are presuming the man guilty and proven innocent.

It seems as though you people take this too far. He's a ****ing wrestler people. When you work and live to fight and then get in an argument it's just reflects to do what you usually do. Understood, no woman should be beaten, but this isn't as bad as what he did to Debra and it's not like she didn't go into the relationship not knowing what happened. He obviously didn't follow up on the push otherwise she wouldn't have been able to reach the phone and make a call. He just pushed her down. I'm not saying it was right and I think it was a terrible thing he did it but I'm not giong to hate on him because of it. I realize why he did it and that's all I'm saying.

I think the fact he has a problem is quite clear. I'm not praising him for what he did.

You people are acting like you are in complete shock that he did this. That is all I'm saying. He's grown up around wrestling, he drinks a ton, and has had a history of beating women. So he's going through a break up and in an argument and YOU MEAN HE DOES IT AGAIN!? Swerve!

Judge him how you wish, that's up to you. I don't believe what he did was as bad as previous situations and you might think it is, that's fine.

I believe some people have blown it up more then what it should be. Those were early reports and everyone was jumping to conclusions. When final reports are released and it's worse then the latest then, ok, I would agree with you on that. I think he needs help to stop in case of it happening again and I hope he gets it.

You know, in light of the fact that Austin has not been arrested and the alleged victim is proving "reluctant to press charges," I feel the need to retell a story I mentioned when the Austin/Debra thing happened originally.

Back on New Years of 1974 (long before I was ever even thought up,) my dad had a lot to drink and nailed my mom in the face, causing serious blood loss and requiring stitches. Upon hearing this, some of you people on these boards would immediately label my father a violent, drunken wife-beater and that would be that in your minds.

The true story goes thusly: My mom and dad were at a New Years' party at his parents' house. He had a hell of a lot to drink and fell asleep on the couch. At about two in the morning my mother had had enough and wanted to go. In an attempt to rouse my father, she shook him rather hard. Still a bit lit up and startled out of sleep, he shot bolt upright and threw his arms out, accidentally catching my mother in the forehead with his ring which caused the cut. Upon hearing my mother scream, my grandmother entered the room to find my mother bleeding with my obviously sauced father standing right there, and drawing the same conclusion most of you probably would have if you'd read my initial account of the incident and nothing more.

Point: We have no idea of the full details of either Austin incident. For all we know, in either or both of these cases Austin reacted in a completely innocent manner that caused the incidents. As Austin was not convicted of the first charge and no more than questioned of the second, to declare Austin guilty until proven innocent as I have said is an offense to a fundamental right of every human being.

I am going to catch hell for thinking this, but I'm going to play devil's advocate here:

I don't know the whole situation, maybe he is the asshole everyone has convicted him of without a trial. But maybe, just maybe, he's not guilty in this instance.

For all we know, the bruises may have actually been rug burns from her having sex with the mail man on the living room floor.

The fact is, we need more information before we jump to conclusions...

Seriously. Coldwaver is saying "innocent unless proven guilty," when you were already defending his actions as though he was guilty.
