MLB 2008 Playoffs Thread

I'm not comfortable saying it's over until it actually is, especially in only a 5 game series...but wow. It's amazing how many LOL-worthy teams there are this year in terms of falling short of expectations. In the regular season alone you can throw the Mets, Yankees, Tigers, Indians in there...hell you can even link the Mariners in there since most people thought they would at least finish up a few games over .500

And in the playoffs...the Cubs are definitely in that group if they are knocked out first round, ditto for the Angels. I mean obviously the Red Sox are really good, but if you win 100 games and still can't get past one round, that's awful.

Although I picked Cubs/Angels WS when the playoffs started, I'm really pulling for Rays/Cubs because I'd be happy with either result, a great story either way. Just as long as the Phucking Phils don't get there.
