Ric Flair could not have immitated what Shawn does in a ring at any point in his career. Legacy, and fueds and a few other factors may create a bigger argument here, but when I think about the merits of an individual wrestler, its the way he carries his character and the way he works that are paramount to me.

That's because the guys coming up NOW were infuenced by HBM. The guys of HBMs genereation were influenced by FLAIR. And who knows how Flair would have wrestled if he was from another generation, but that's a shit reason to knock a guy.
