I think it does matter in the average joe/jane's eyes. My girlfriend watches wrestling occasionally and is always known for point out shit that we've been thinking all along but have never talked about and she pointed out how ridiculous that belt looks. She asked something like "How come all of the other belts look normal but that belt looks all iced out? Looks kinda stupid"

I agree also, it really makes no sense. Cena had a belt made for him and when he loses the belt is still passed on? Seriously, what? Did Austin's Smoking Skull belt get passed on after him? (And don't bring up the Rock stealing it. Not the same)
