Do you miss Vince McMahon on TV?
I've noticed that Vince is usually pretty smart about taking himself off of TV when he becomes too much to take after awhile. I think Vince adds something to the show that Shane & Steph just haven't shown.

I miss Vince. I love Vince on Raw because his segments are so funny. I just crack up at the sight of him strutting to the ring. Great entertainer. Though I agree it doesn't do any harm to have him off for a while, seeing as he had a role on TV for like 2/3 years straight pretty much.

I'd keep him off TV for as long as possible. He's been an almost constant feature for ten years now. The character pretty much dominates the main event area but without bringing the matches that should go with a fued.

I'm not saying the character doesn't have a place, it just needs a long rest for now.

I really enjoyed the role Vince played from 2004-2006. He wasn't on screen much, but when he showed up once in awhile you knew something big was going down. I would compare it to when Shawn Michaels was Commissioner (before he joined The Corporation).

To some extent I do. I love him on the mic and camera, but not for long stretches. He can still cut some great a-hole boss promos in the ring, but sometimes they can really drag on.

He's a great entertainer and will make himself look like a complete fool just to get someone over. I'm currently enjoying his time off camera and hope he stays off for at least a few more months.

To be fair, he's probably known it for a while now. Hence why they tried to 'blow him up' a couple years back. For him to take a while away from the screen. But with the whole Benoit thing he couldn't.

Vince is the Attitude era. The Attitude era was over 8 years ago. Either retool the gimmick entirely or stay the fuck off my TV.

Honestly, if the storyline doesn't involve the company as a whole he shouldn't be making appearances.

Honestly, I'm in two minds.

On the one hand, I truly believe that Vince's involvement in a storyline with a wrestler can elevate him and get the best out of him - unfortunately, the wrestler concerned usually then has a brain explosion and is never heard from again. Guys like Lashley, Masters come to mind. Eventually, you'll find a winner.

But then on the other hand, when I see him on TV week after week, dominating the programming, I just want to put my foot through the screen.

Just need to find that balance.

That's pretty much it. Vince can be very entertaining. I used to be a complete and utter mark for him. But when it's "Vince this" and "Vince that" and no one else gets room to breathe, it becomes important to take the character off TV.

I would like to see more Shane McMahon during this time, because Shane is just hands-down the most entertaining McMahon of the bunch. But I'm going to mark out just a little bit the next time I hear "No Chance." The sadist in me does want to see some sort of conclusion to "who crushed Mr. McMahon," but the way they haven't addressed the angle at all makes me think that it was intended to just be a freak accident.

It's sort of sad that Vince McMahon is probably the only character that can effortless float through face and heel stages at the click of the finger. If only as much effort was put into writing some of the other major characters in the WWE universe.
