Will probably pick up the Benatar song.

Getting ridiculous on live tracks though. Dunno, they make sense being in the game, but I don't like live tracks...

Sweet, we're getting a GNR album.

What?

WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S CHINESE DEMOCRACY?!?!

FUCK.

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/featu...03939032.story

There was talk of a "Guitar Hero" or "Rock Band" download of "Chinese Democracy." Is either going to happen?

There is talk about a "Rock Band" release, and they felt the record-based on the nature and complexity of the depth of instrumentation-deserved a bit more attention and some more involved elements than they've generally dealt with. I have no idea what that means but it's my understanding they were very enthusiastic. We're looking at a Feb. 28 release, according to [executives at MTV responsible for] "Rock Band." ["Rock Band" has since changed the release date to spring.]

Hey gang!

Here's an early morning surprise for you... an announcement of the DLC arriving on the week of 2/10! We're probably going to be posting the DLC announcements around this time (10am EST) for the foreseeable future in an attempt to sync up with the European rockers waiting for the announcements, so get up early and keep your eyes peeled on Fridays from now on.

This week we're releasing a 3 pack from The Fratellis, featuring tracks from their 2006 album Costello Music!

Here's the track listing

The Fratellis - Creeping Up the Back Stairs
The Fratellis - Flathead
The Fratellis - Henrietta

All tracks are original master recordings.

These tracks will be $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) a piece, or $5.49 (440 Microsoft Points) for the full 3 pack.

You can find these songs in the Xbox Live Marketplace on Tues Feb 10th, and in the Playstation Store on Thurs Feb 12th.

Never heard of them

They kinda sound like a less talented version of the Arctic Monkeys.

Also, I want to tittyfuck the girl in red, in the flathead video.

I'm surprised you were nonplussed by the Dead, but There were some songs I really enjoyed. I need to clear off my kit so I can drum to MoB. A couple of the Country pack were REALLY fun (I only have bullets and lead and Sin Wagon...I know, LOL Dixe Chicks), and I was a fan of the Century Media pack.

I've been loving the content. I mean, I don't like everything for sure. I skipped the dead, got three-ish No Doubt songs because I thought they'd be fun to play, and dodged a lot of the rest, but it's not bad. Just not what I want. Though some of it is. I mean, I love the Lizzy tracks.

Ugh, tried some more songs on Hard Drums. I fucking hate how they have the foot pedal in the middle of other notes and shit. So annoying.

Drumming isn't for everyone.

I haven't drummed in a while. My set's just sitting there. I should... drum sometime.

No problem with medium. And the low level songs on hard are fun. But ankle gets sore after a while. I guess if you do it for a living you get used to it.

I'm out of shape so doing a few songs now would kill me. A while back I couldn't wait to drum but now I sigh just looking at my set in the corner.

It does help keep it from being mistaken for just another note. Aside from being an important foundation of most pop/rock music, it is kind of...Placed somewhere else.

I hate how you have to place the actual pedal in the middle. Would be a lot more comfortable to me if I could put it off to the side.

Set it up on a tabletop and you can put the pedal wherever you please.

The thing I hated most about the RB base kit was the pedal. On just about every level--construction, placement, the stupid phone cord shit (Or: Hey, I'm over 6 feet tall, if I adjust the drums to a proper height, the pedal is likely to pop up into the air!!!!!!), etc.
