It may or may not be true, but 'generic/predictable'? Come on, what? How is that generic or predictable. To be generic, this would have to be a common happening. As for predictability, this is the first I have heard of this theory at all. Everyone else I've talked to has been clammering on about how Charlie must be -the- Charlie, which is even more ludicrous of an idea the more you think about it.

It would be predictable if it was Charlie Pace, because that's the first thing everyone thought. But it is a swerve and not predictable if it turns out to be Charles Widmore.

My first thought was that 'Oh it could be Charles or Charlie' followed by 'I hope it isn't.' Charles would be the 'less likely' of the two though if that was gonna be the case
