As I said, I don't know if Austin would put over Jericho. Personally, I don't think there is any point in him coming back for a last match if it's going to be with Cena. Of course it would add to Cena's list of accomplishments, but a list of accomplishments has never been Cena's problem, has it? In fact, you cited Hogan v. Rock at Mania. One of the things people went on to say about that match is how Hogan should have gone over because of the crowd switch. With Austin v. Cena, there wouldn't BE a crowd switch. It would be Austin from bell to bell. A Cena victory would just make people continue to hate Cena. And of course, they could parlay that into a Cena heel turn. But we've been saying that for how long now?

Austin gets nothing out of returning to face Cena. He doesn't face a current Rock or a modern day Stone Cold. I think actually only a heel would benefit from going over Austin.
