I'm a little worried about Falcons management saying they are going to develop a defense through the Draft rather than FA. I mean the Falcons had a great draft last year, but we also got some veteran guys to hold the defense up.

Rumor is the Falcons have been talking with LJ Smith. I'm not sure if he's the kind of TE we need, but if he stayed healthy he could definitely be useful.

And goodbye Brooking. Falcons fans will miss him, but it is time to replace him.

Kind of like Shaun O'Hara for the Giants. Makes a hell of a lot of difference having a guy that can command your offensive line and get your protections in order play after play. Glad to see O'Hara got recognized to a Pro Bowl this year.

I don't know the ATL TE situation but I think LJ might fit in a temporary role. Good all around TE and he can catch the ball. He would definitely be a good security blanket for Matt Ryan.
