Apparently the Kostitsyn bros. and Roman Hamirlik are involved in some sort of street gang or rival gangs. As much as I dislike the Habs cause of the rivalry with the Bruins, no organization should have to face this kind of heat.

Yeah, this is really bad news. Just being sad that they have been seen at bars and restaurants together with the bad guy, who is facing weapons charges. Still, going to be interesting to see the way Bettman and the Habs handle this

Basically, it looks like everything has been overblown and people are blaming RDS and the commenters on "L'Antichambre" as reacting to rumours too soon. Apparently the police never went to Dorval airport, and the Kostitsyn were only acquaintances of the guy who got arrested as he spoke Russian too and would pick up chicks for them. Hamrlik was only mentioned by the same man in a phone convo but didn't actually talk with him.

I watched the "L'antichambre" show you linked to, Zen. Wow, from what they said, I thought half the team was wanted for murder.

Yeah not really too worried to be honest with you. I just hope Detroit got it all out of their system Saturday. Conks was awful, but Osgood came in and gave up 2 goals on 2 shots.

Kind of surprised that Bowmeester didn't get dealt today considering he's a FA this offseason and he already said he's not going back to Florida. I would think that the Panthers would want to get at least some prospects for him.

Yeah, but they also want to make the playoffs for the first time in a while, so it's not like they had a choice. The Habs did the same with Souray a couple of years ago.

Frankly, it was the most boring trade deadline day in a decade or so.

Why would you pay a guy 2.5 million dollar who has 12 goals and would be a 3rd liner on any other team in the NHL.

Florida needs to make the playoffs for added revenue. Trading Bowmeester would have killed that.

Sharks is winning this year. For once they have all the right ingrdients. In the past years, they usually got knocked early because of poor defence and a lack of anything good past the second line. I think this is their year, if Marleau can come back soon.

Also, the Habs are now officially in the playoffs. And as a huge Canadiens fan, I want to make the prediction that no matter who we get in the first round, we won't make it past match #5.
