Is there anyway to...
transfer the contents of my old computer onto my new one?
I was told that you can use a cable which goes into the printer ports, and then use a file transfer program. Well, I tried this and the two computers never connected. It just stayed on the 'the two computers are trying to connect. this may take a minute' for about 45 minutes. Any ideas on any other ways? ![]() |

Try some internet storage. Dazz knows a good one. Just upload the stuff from your old computer, then download it to your new one.
I used CD-RWs for my transfer though. :meh: |

Get one of those IDE cables that plugs into the hard drive, one that splits into two so you can run both at once, and just drag everything over
