Anyone else check this out. I just started watching it. No idea what is really about. Is it supposed to be if US had a King. Anyways, really excited cause Kareem Sayid from OZ just showed up. So if he is a main character I will certainly be more interested.

I expected Ian McShane to be crazy bastard like he was in Death Race. Instead he was rather mellow except for one or two spots.

The other guy I thought for sure was Ryan Phillippe. (sp?)

Kings is a great show. I am already hooked on it. There are so many good storylines that can grow and develop. Ian McShane as King Silas is a perfect choice and I do like the biblical story as the main idea. Chris Egan does a great job in the show. I think he will get better as it goes along. The daughter is pretty hot, and the son reminds me of Adrien from Nip/Tuck in the manner in which he acts. My favorite character is Silas. I like his docile attitude, but you can tell when he is really passionate about something. I look forward to it this weekend. The episode this week brought in a bunch of new storylines. I also am interested to see what the actor from Lord of War; he played Andre Baptiste Sr in that but is the reverend in this. I wonder if he wants to take over and create a theocracy and make the monarchy a simple figurehead.

Great show, although I expected it to be a little bit "edgyer", not sure why. But 3 epidoes in and it's shaping up to be a winner (so it will probably get the arse)

I only knew about it after I caught Ian McShane on The Daily Show

It looked interesting, haven't seen it though. I read somewhere that they already moved its time slot to Saturday or something, which essentially confirmed that it was being canceled.
