yeah, Hobbs is a nickle guy, who had to play all the time... he's not that bad because he's very fast, but he's also very short.... So, any jump situation he's screwed.

Plus side is he's a good returner.

but, he wasn't going to play much with all the picks/signings so I'll take the pick for him.

I love the talk of McDaniel being a Pats spy...

The truth may just be he wasn't ready... the guy was a glorified QB coach.

But time will tell, 1/2 the predictions we all make this time of year never work out anyway.

You could argue Tomlin was a glorified DB coach.

Difference is when he went into Pittsburgh he recognised he had something good already and didn't initiate wholesale change.

rofl some guy on the Giants' message board ordered a #88 Hakeem Nicks jersey from a local shop as soon as he was drafted, wanting to be the first person to have one and figuring Nicks would want his college number and would get it because jobber backup TE Michael Matthews (who will probably be cut unless there is an injury) has it.

Instead, Nicks is wearing #18 and since he specifically asked for it from Feagles...likely means that's the number he will be wearing as a Giant.

This is now the third time Feagles has cashed in on his teammates wanting a number. Eli paid for a Feagles family vacation to Florida to get #10, then a year later Plax paid for a brand new grill/kitchen area to get #17. Wonder what Nicks gave him.

On the Broncos front, Knowshon Moreno is going to wear #27. The late Darrent Williams' number. He had to actually get the OK from Williams' famliy to wear it.

Moreno will be a good NFL RB for years to come.. I know Bronco fans didn't like the pick, but I think he'll be a good guy to build y'alls new offense around..

and normally the Jets would require compensation, because they released him based on him retiring, however they wont because then it would count as a trade and then they'd owe the packers a bunch of picks because there was a clause that if he was delt back to the division the Packers got compensation from the Jets.

but yeah, his agent was all over the place after his release that he was never playing again...

god, what are we going to need? this guy to drop dead or be in a wheelchair so we don't go through this every single offseason? (no, i'm not wishing either on him!)
