I noticed you used the word Republican (not conservative) so age would have a big thing to do with it, not to mention all the students drooling over Obama while thinking the Germans were just idiots for electing Hitler, while likely doing the same thing(moving more and more to national socialism)
I think a big factor is that there is really one person in charge of both parties, and they've picked the dems to be in charge. People who watch wrestling are likely to be watching TV and buy into this whole two party shame. |

What the hell are you talking about? Hitler wasn't elected directly by the German people. He lost the 1932 Presidential election to Hindenburg. The Nazi Party never received over 50% of the vote in Reichstag elections. They had to form a coalition government with smaller parties. And Hindenburg only reluctantly appointed Hitler as Chancellor because he had just dismissed the previous chancellor after about a month in office. He put Franz von Papen as Vice Chancellor in order to "control" Hitler. :foc: |
