After the Lesnar clinic, I took Nog out late in the first, even though he had dominated me on the ground.. I somehow got up from his side control and WHAM head kick into mounted pounded his face..



Then beat Vera in a stand up war..

Then I got a shot at Gabe Gonzaga who was the champ and I destroyed him.. Bout to defend against Kongo cause he KO'd me when I first was trying to "step up" and fight higher ranked guys..

Still scared to fight Lesnar again..

I just ducked Brock and Mir and agreed to fight Arlovski. Took out Vera (KO of the Night and Fight of the Night) Kongo shouldn't give you too much trouble now that you have actually 'stepped up'

Getting pretty fucking sick of being taken down at will against the guys who are good on the ground. I also have a piece of shit sparring partner who would rather spend the sessions literally running away from me instead of fighting, which in turn doesn't help me improve my takedowns and general ground skills

Fuck, I went on a win/loss/win/loss streak for a bit when I was trying to step my game up and face the big boys in Light Heavy... Houston Alexander KOd me pretty bad. Avenged that with ground and pound. Then I win against Jardine (gate's open!). Chuck Liddell KOs me really bad. Then Tito gets a lucky KO with a bitch ass jab. Then fucking Forrest "Superman's Fist" Griffin proceeds to KO me. But I kept at it, tightened up my kick game, ramped up my striking defence and blasted through Machida, Rampage and the champ, Rashad all via kick to the head. Since then I've avenged my losses to Chuck and Forrest. Tito's dropped down the rankings like a little bitch so I cant fight him again. Now I'm 9 wins strong and probably gonna give Rampage a third title shot.

Seriously, my kicks are ridiculous now. Tekken combos up and down the octagon, KOs left and right. I haven't ground and pounded out anyone out since Funky/Rampage II.

Scratch liking the demo, now I'm getting more familiar with the grappling elements, I love the demo.

I think you have to master both the striking and ground parts of your game (Lvl 3 on both) and get all the awards at least once (match of the night, ko of the night and submission of the night)

I'm at a tremendous 7-9 record here. Welterweight div. No prior experience. Went with a Muay tai or however you spell it style. Should have went kick boxer cuz my guy cant kick to the head yet..thus my struggles.

Currently about 11-1 and the Lightheavyweight Champion in my Career mode. Getting a lot better with my groundgame and on Takedowns, in my last fight I managed to beat Wanderlei Silva fairly easily, which suprised me considering my first attempt at the Career mode he was impossible for me to beat.

Rampage was a hard fight too, actually restarted it about 15 times because I wanted to get the title there and then, in the end settled for a tactic of staying out of his clinch range and going for a mix of takedowns and kicks to the the head.

Toughest fight in the light heavy weight division has been Rashad Evans. He was number 2 contender for the title when I fought him, we went the distance and I won a majority decision 28-27, 28-27, 28-28. Was an awesome fight. I'm now the world champion at 18-0 after taking out Rampage for the title. I have also since ducked Rashad at every corner. (fuck you i want my achievement. )

Yeah Rashad Evans is tough, lost the championship to him in my first defence after I somehow destroyed Rampage Jackson in under a minute and a half. Floored him with a spinning back elbow and just wailed away untill the ref stopped it. Currently at 21-7-0, I think not sparing early in my career has hurt me, due to me not realising that it was the only way to raise stats. Am loving this game so much.

And after loving online initially, now it can fuck off. Was 7-0 until I got tagged with a head kick for a flash KO. Didn't really mind that too much, 2 more wins for 9-1 then had like 3 successive people quit on me, 2 after submitting them and one before the match had even started (I think 9-1, 8 submissions put him off since his record was 13-30, all KO wins) and now my last 2 fights have been pretty much identical to each other, take my time, picking shots, wait for an opening and unload, in the process of pounding them against the cage with a flurry of head and body punches, one after the other and bam, literally one head kick and I get flash KO'd. Only shot from my opponent that lands. Both fights. Joypad is lucky it's still in one fucking piece.

You realise by constantly unloading punches you're draining your energy right? Which is exactly when flash KOs/subs are likely to happen. You go all guns blazing and don't finish you're in trouble.

Yeah, I can understand that, the thing that got me the most was the fact that I had at least 8-10 punches land flush, on the button, and they weren't even rocked yet one from them, out. Got over it quite quickly, I'm just now more cautious than ever online. Haven't lost since though.

I swear i should have like 9 or 10 more wins if it weren't for people quitting.

I started a career with a CAF. I went 10-0 before losing to Serra in a PPV main event. I haven't picked it up yet again. All that momentum just to lose. It's a bit depressing.
