Question What are your memories of Wrestlemania 13?

....If any, that is. I know there's a few people here who were too young to enjoy Wrestlemania 13, or didn't watch at the time, but for those of you who were fans at the time, what did you do, if anything, that weekend, and what were your thoughts going into it?

I wanted to order the pay-per-view, but I was only fourteen, and my father wouldn't pay for it. My relatives from England were staying at the house at the time too, so it was a pretty hectic weekend. I was pretty much use to missing PPV's, so it didn't bother me that much, and as soon as it came out on video tape, I was at the video store, renting it. This is one of my personal favorite Wrestlemanias. To this day, this is the one show I would have given anything to be at live, and I love Wrestlemania 13 so much because of the famous "I Quit" match which I think is the greatest match of all time.

Was anyone there live? If so, what was it like being there? i.e. How was the crowd? What were some of the things the fans said to one another before, during, and after the show? Were the fans pretty into it, and who was more popular, Bret Hart or Steve Austin?.....(I realize it's a long shot to find someone on here who was actually there, but ya never know.)

94 SVT Cobra does not have that much rep yet (10+)
ill never forget WM13, it was epic in every way shape and form and set the back drop for 14s main event. i get goosebumbps thinking about it (literally). the whole card was pretty awesome, but ill NEVER get how in the middle of a match, the heel turned face and the face turned heel with bret hart. we saw it with mankind vs triple h, but that was a loveable outcast (mankind)....austin was the american nightmare living the american dream insulting one of the GREATEST in our sports...and by the end of the match you werent exactly happy that bret won like you thought you would be, you were more in awe of austins "toughest SOB gimmick" by never tapping out.

ill never forget that night, i looked at austin passed out in the ring sitting in my living room and said, "what the fuck is that? he didnt tap? dude, hes fuckin bad ass" i was like 11 so bear with me lol.

that and undertaker was my fav wrestler at the time, so you KNOW how much i loved the whole card beyond the bret austin match

EDIT: also, it was the "last" ppv were you werent sure if WWF was getting a bit to "wild", you officially knew, BIG changes were on the way, just couldnt imagine what it would become

I remember that, I remember Bret/Austin, and I remember Undertaker beating Sid and doing his pose with the belt.

Other than that, I don't remember anything else.

Yeah, WrestleMania 13 was Hart-Austin. That's about it for me. It was pretty shitty outside of that.

Bret Hart v Austin. Amazing match. For some reason I remember The Rock v The Sultan. I don't know why
