He generally follows all the going's ons via the dirtsheets internet. He may go so far as to rate matches himself. He has his origins in tape trading. It is not required that a smark watch one particular style or another. Some smarks watch only WWE, some hate WWE (or at least complain about it weekly and then tune in the next week to complain about it some more) and love ROH, somehow there are CZW smarks. It seems like the smaller the promotion, the greater number of smarks in the crowd.
