Brainwashing's a pretty harsh term here. Narc may not particularly like the idea based on a poor product, but that alone doesn't make him brainwashed.

Most people don't take wrestling as anything more than a passtime at best, casual entertainment. And honestly, you shouldn't really have to hunt for casual entertainment.

But more importantly, if you think disinterest in women's wrestling is tied to WWE, I think you're a little out of touch with society. At least, American society. Women's atheltics are either highly sexualised or considered secondary, a joke, or all three of the above.

I'm not sure why we'd expect much different from wrestling fans en generale.

I know a lot of smarks love to scour for wrestling, but that's not a one size fits all mentality.
