Depends on who it is. We had a posse of 5 going the other night and went into Pike's Basin. About midway into it, another posse of 4 showed up and helped us clean it out then left. Some groups can be nice, but others can real douchebags. I prefer running towards the douches with dynamite in hand. That usually scares them off.

Not really. Me and my buddy were running around getting the gang hideout free roam achievement. There were only about 5 players in the session. We were on our way to Fort Mercer and there were 2 guys in there. We've been watching them for a while and they should have been done a long time ago. We get there, slip in the back, we kill a couple of guys and we get credit for the challenge.

They kill me, my partner kills them, and we beat feet into Mexico to Tesuro Azul. We start that up, they follow and shoot us up all the way to Nosalida. Bunch of pricks. We got the achievement in the long run. But learned to sit back and wait or go somewhere else.

Only real complaint I have about Liar's Dice is how it goes from insanely easy to fucking cakewalk when it's down to you and the other guy...say I have 4 of my dice left, the other guy only has 1, bids 3 3's...well, if you have none, and dude only has 1 die left...way too easy to call his bluff. yeah, but that's a match.

Not only that, but they all but tell you to take the high ground in this game. I get that, and I don't have a problem. Well, I get irked by spawn camping, but that's not the same thing.

I'm only really puzzled by this antagonistic behaviour in free roam. Well, puzzled isn't the word. I just don't understand how people get something out of it.

Since you're required to escalate each bid, it doesn't take long to kill someone with one or two dice. It's easier when there's only you two, but it's very much the nature of the beast.

Once I found out there were bonuses for each, I went out of the way to snag the challenges. I like perks. Even if some of them are dumb.

California seems borderline pointless.

Found a good place to track my route to 100% though. Using the Rockstar Social Club site and it shows everything I've done, except for a few bugs the site has. (Not showing my stranger missions or my ambient challenges.) Still, it's a big help. Can't wait to get home and headshot some bears and buffalo with my buffalo rifle.

Also, has anyone headshot a bear at point blank range with the shotgun yet? It's awesome to watch in slow motion.

I was driving home yesterday and saw a fawn (baby deer for you morons) jumping along the side of the road by a farm house (between the suburbs of kansas city there rural areas). I caught myself looking for a rifle and knife, that is when I knew I have played to mucn rdr.

I have it now and have played it. Only done one or two missions for the woman at the start, but I have done 2 treasure maps, a few side missions and drown several times. I heard there is a way to get a *** horse at the start by hanging rock. I've looked for ages, but no chance.

I will play it more soon, but enjoying the side of it first, like I did with GTA IV, I just roam for a bit, getting to know the place....

I really hope GTA goes back to the 1980's (Vice City!!!), but I have to admit, this is a welcome change in the sandbox style game.

p.s. any tips at for a guy at the start that ain't so difficult? I have cleared people out at poker (expected a trophy too! - but alas, nothing )

Missing 4 bounty locations, the US Marshal outfit, the legend of the West outfit, and that last challenge that requires you to disarm 6 guys without reloading which I can't seem to get. Using dead eye doesn't work as I always reload after using it.
