yeah do any of you negroes play this online? as i've finished story mode now and i'm just working on getting 100% and all the achievements and i think there's some multiplayer ones

Started the co-op with a buddy and we got gold on 5 of the 6 we did. Ammunition was by far the most fun mission yet. Totally didn't realize you were supposed to take out the enemy camp on the hill until after you got the dynamite, but it made things way easier doing it first.

Also, to agree with G, FUCK THE HERDING MISSIONS.

I just saw this on Joystiq. While my first thought was "OMG YES!" I then realised we're paying an additional 30 bucks to get (assuming the free roam pack costs money like the other three), by and large, shit that was advertised in the game in the first place.

So...Yay?

Most of it wasn't really advertised as being in the game.. People just assumed it was because they wanted it to be. Although it is absurd to have to pay for all that shit separately. Charge me $20 and give me all of it.

Yeah, the developers only said that you'd be able to do virtually everything you could do in single player except story missions, and the free roam multiplayer was only advertised as being as engaging as the single player.

I don't know why people would assume that content just because the devs said so. Stupid wishful thinking.

I'm selling the game at the end of the month. I have 100% completion now. Good ending in a way, I guess.

This online stuff. I ain't really got anyone to do it with. As I said earlier, I went online once and some dick just fucked me up. Though I did 2 hideouts alone.

So, been as I have it until the end of the month, is online worth doing. I'm kinda pissed off that for PLATINUM trophies you HAVE to go online. IMO, you should be able to get platinum after getting all trophies offline, then maybe a " Platinum+ " for doing the online stuff too. Or whatever is higher than platinum. Carbon? Titanium? Copper? Zinc? Emo's?

Are you thinking of Def Jam: FFNY, Ermax, or DJ: Icon? Because it sounds to me like you're mixing the two up. Not to be a jerk. At the risk of sounding like a dick, wouldn't the same complaints pop up?

Also, is this uncommon for the Playstation and trophies? Because like 90% of my games for XBox have online achievements that will block you from getting 1000/1000 if you don't have live or don't play online. I don't have many PS3 titles, and most of them I've never even looked at the trophy list, so I'm not sure how this works.

All games I know have online "minor" (gold, silver, bronze) trophies to get before you can get platinum trophy (what you get when you have all "minor" trophies.

I think Platinum should be for offline only. Like I say, online doesn't really bother me with PS3. I game online on PC (FPS and Football Manager), so I kinda hate I can't do platinum unless I have an inet connection etc. etc.

Don't get me wrong, online Achievements annoy me, too. Especially for games where they shut down the servers. But still, it seems like it's trading one tier for another.

Nope, it wouldn't annoy me. I've spoken with friends too about this, and they agree that they cba going online too. I mean, the inet I connect my PS3 with is shit as it's for my parents, but even when I ran it through my own inet it was still a poor experience.

PES2010 was the worst. I'd press pass and it would take forever to do. So I have to admit, there's one reason there, also it seems a lot of guys on there are complete wankers. Like I said, I went on and was messing around doing hideouts, and just got killed by some randomer. I didn't know it was a trophy at the time, but when I did find out I just did a facepalm.

I dunno. I just don't give a fuck about online. So the PLATINUM+ / Diamond trophy wouldn't be a worry. And if it is for others, it gives them something to reach for still. Win/Win.
