I still haven't seen it, but everything I heard on the radio today (not just local, but national) said it wasn't a bad slash and was borderline if it should be called, but leaving the puck (again, I haven't seen it) wasn't the right move.

From what they said on the radio, he took the slash and then just left the puck w/ no one behined him and skated off the ice.

I heard his coach and a teammate ripping him this morning, while he was talking about "they allow slashes and next thing you know, someones going to get a slash to the leg" or something. I'll have to try and catch sports center later.
