I wanted the Canadiens to win, but it was hilarious.

Too bad such a simple play is going to cost Montreal the series.

First, Kovalev was wrong for what he did. I dont care if my hand got slashed off my wrist, as long as I'm conscious I'm still goign to try to make a play at the puck.

It should have been called, but its overtime and anyone who watched that game could see the refs had the refs deep in their pockets. That said, the guys still have to make the right play, you should never rely on the refs.

Also in the wrong is anyone on the Montreal roster who spoke negatively about Kovalev. Even if you believe he was in the wrong, for the sake of the team you should keep your mouth shut when it comes to the media. Its one thing to yell at him in the room, but dont involve the media.

Now the team will be dived, I think Kovalev will fold for the rest of the series, and Montreal will probably get smoked tomorrow night. Its too bad, because if they would have won last night, I the series was destined for 7 games. The Habs really need to come together and step up, if they can I'll be impressed, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

From the quotes I read, Kovalev tried to hang his team mate out to dry also, saying that "he lost sight of the puck and I was just trying to get out of his way".

I don't know if one was in response to the others quotes or said w/o knowledge of the otherone.
