None of those were good ideas. The No Limits Soldiers were a bunch of black guys ganging up on a couple of rednecks in redneck country. This wasn't going to get over in a million years. KISS were finished in the 80's so what the hell were they doing on their TV? Tank Abbott couldn't work and the WWF already had established UFC stars like Severn and Shamrock who could work. The Warrior was paid an insane amount of money just to come back for one match to get Hogan his win back. I fail to see any positives to any of these before they were executed. The execution was never the problem. The original idea was.

I will have to agree to disagree with you about those things. No Limit was WCW's way to try and bring in the younger audience with a popular rap group of the time but just like with the Warrior. They paid them both alot of money and gave them Creative Control of the direction, so they made as few appearances (I think Master P did two shows) pocketed the money and walked away. KISS was always a very entertaing act, but WCW promised them more they they should have and it ended up being another wash. I mean look at what the WWE is doing now, they had ZZ Top, and Shaq Fu as hosts. Is it any better?

Bringing in guys like Shaq and ZZ Top is different than bringing in No Limit as Shaq and hosts are ment only as a one time appearence. WCW was bringing in celebrities and writing long term angles around them. Also, Tank Abbott wasn't exactly dominating in the UFC as Shamrock and Severn were. Shanrock and Severn had wrestling backgrounds. Shamrock was a pro wrestler before going to the UFC in the first place.

I guess that's one of the diffrences. I think that it was cool to see Vampiro with The Misfits, and Vampiro with the ICP (I'm sensing a connection here between Vampiro + Rockers= Good). Master P or any of the rappers didnt actually wrestle, do you think that if WCW had taken it in another direction besides feuding with contry music they could have been over. I mean it was mostly Rey and Konnan doing what they always did just this time with SWOLL 4X4 and Chase behind them saying Hootie Hoo.

1 - If you saw 100 guys beating up 3 guys, you'd think the 100 guys are cunts. That's why the No Limit Soldiers never got over.

2 - They never had creative control. They had set things they agreed to like giving certain people pushes.

3 - In 1999 (or whenever it was), get Korn or Limp Bizkit. Get Eminem or Dr Dre. Kiss? You gotta be shitting me.

4 - I talk shit about WWE being out of touch with their current audience all the time. Shaq is a star though.
