I don't think TLC, Street Fights, Hell in a Cells or Elimination Chambers work as pre-arranged concepts. They should stem out of feuds, when appropriate. Do an Elimination Chamber when there are so many guys after a World Title. For example, right now on SmackDown! you've got an arguable main event scene of CM Punk, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Tyson Kidd (holds a pinfall over then World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy), The Undertaker and John Morrison. If those six men all went for the World Heavyweight Title at the same time, an EC might make sense. Otherwise, just don't use it.

King of the Ring should have never left, and should replace one of their shitty PPVs no one cares about. If they give the King of the Ring winner a Summerslam World Title match of their choosing, it might help to get the PPVs to feed each other, and make KOR events a bit more important.

If they want to change around PPV names to generate interest, scrap Armageddon and call the December PPV Starrcade. There you go. Have it feature a War Games match. It can be set-up through Survivor Series, with the traditional elimination matches.

There's also the Scramble Match strategy they used for Unforgiven last year, which I didn't think was too bad. You can expand that to encompass a lot more championships. Maybe feature five Scrambles, with the WWE Title, World Heavyweight Title, ECW Title, IC Title, US Title and Women's Title being defended in them. You can space these out by having a Unified WWE Tag Team Title match and Divas Title match between them. Maybe a grudge match between just two guys, as well?

If they're looking for themes, a RAW vs. SmackDown! PPV event could be pretty fun.

Noid, just because somebody holds a pinfall over somebody else, doesn't mean they're qualified suddenly for main event. If that was the case, why isn't JR in the main event scene for his win over HHH?

It's a good enough claim for someone sticking around to try and enter the main event, though. If I pinned the World Heavyweight Champion, you'd never hear me stop talking about it until I got my title shot.

I mean, people in the WWE need to realize that TLC matches can shorten careers and can put somebody who potentially has the star power to carry your company out for a while. Then they lose their fire and then what? Street fight is just gay because that match can be made at any RAW. Tourney should definitely be it so that not only is that wrestler on top of the mountain, people will take that person seriously, as long as they don't win every match by DQ or something. I mean i don't know why they are even asking fans about this shit because we know what is going to be picked.

Why do they feel they need another gimmick for their PPVs?

They have 14 PPVs scheduled this year. Of those 14 PPVs, 9 (NINE) of them have some gimmick attached to them:

Royal Rumble - the rumble
No Way Out - elimination chambers
Wrestlemania - MITB and the rumble winner's title shot
Extreme Rules - all no DQ matches
Night of Champions - all title matches
Breaking Point - submission matches
Hell in a Cell - HIAC matches
Bragging Rights - "audience voting"
Survivor Series - elimination matches


And they want more? All this says to me is the booking team is looking for easy ways to make storylines without putting in a lot of thought or development.

Hey, how about "WWE Wrestling" for a PPV? Where they book an actual pro wrestling show?

At this point that's a fucking gimmick PPV.

Do it at the Garden with the old school entrance and no huge stage or over production.

Maybe the main event could be a feud ending cage match and the other matches could be part of long-running feuds.

The problem is, the idea would be twisted, and you'd end up with something like Randy Orton and Sgt. Slaughter vs Cena and Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and Kofi Kingsto jobbing his title back to Pat Patterson.

I would not support the Street Fight or TLC themed PPV's, however that having been said, if the Tournament based PPV was, as other's have suggested, an idea to maybe bring back the KotR for one night only, with the winner recieving a title shot at the end of the night, then I would support that, but only that format. Nobody wants to see, for instance a "Beat The Clock" tournament, or anything else of that nature on PPV.

I know that "themes" aren't cool, and that people may not be on board with this, but for a RAW in Vegas, I would love to see the Lethal Lottery brought back.

i think if WWE could have KOR back in june for the shot at the title at Summerslam, like noid said. And have the Bash build up towards summerslam like they do with no way out, that'd be great.

I think WWE Should build angles around 3 ppvs or so instead of just each individual PPV. I don't know if I'd actually like this in practice, but in theory I'd rather have longer booked feuds.
