So what's this about not being able to use wired mics and controllers? This is what a friend told me when he tried to set his game up at work for the kids to play. Like, TBRB wouldn't recognise his wired controller when he tried to use a normal set. The instruments, all wireless, worked fine.

Is this for real?

From what I've heard the game will work with any of the controllers, which wired controllers was he using? I'm using the Rock Band Strat and that works fine, I also have a GH2 lying around somewhere which I'll try out as well.

I'd try and repeat it, but I don't have a wired 360 controller. Never have, and don't plan to.

Wired mic/wireless controller works for Beatles. I'm using an original RB set and a GH3 guitar and they all work.
