Urlacher is supposedly done for the season.

Mind you, I'm a Detroit Lions fan and when they are horrible (see: ALL the time) I'm a huge Green bay fan. But as a fantasy football person, I can see who gets affected by Cutler the most. Rep to the first person who gets it

I didn't say he was the only one to blame. I never even attempted to make that point. But if he did have a bad game, or if he did make a mistake there always seemed to be someone that wanted to say it wasn't his fault, and it only happened because someone else messed up.

I remember Jay basically crying about them trying to trade him. But I can deal with what we have now, because I wasn't really too big on Plummer when we first got him, yet look where we got with him. Farthest we've been since Elway.

Jay didn't help his case after he left, when he rated Chicago fans (a 9) and Denver fans (a 6), and then a couple days later after Denver fans got pissed, said that he'd never said it. Dude has a serious problem manning up.

Maybe we should've just listened to Philip Rivers a couple years ago...

Wow. Urlacher out for the season with a dislocated wrist.

Doesn't sound like a season ending injury. I mean, I'm not doctor or anything but "dislocated wrist" just doesn't sound like an injury that's gonna end someones season. Just odd.

Yeah seems odd unless his wrist was seen as too injury-prone for the season even if he came back after surgery.

How would you feel if your boss said Hey I'd rather have someone else do your job and if the price is right I'll get rid of you, but since we didn't get what we want I guess we'll just stick with you? I'd be pissed and I'd want out of the organization too.

As for Cutler not meeting with McDaniels, how is that a negative against Cutler? He didn't want to play for McDaniels anymore so what obligation does Cutler have to have go to some meeting that isn't going to solve anything?

I agree that McDaniels would want Cassel because he's comfortable with the guy, but you can't go out and try to get him without angering the guy whose job you're trying to give away.

You can argue that Cutler handled it poorly, and I would agree with you. But if McDaniels hadn't done what he did in the first place, there wouldn't even be a situation to handle.

I wouldn't want Matt Cassel to replace Cutler, but Jay Cutler is hardly Peyton Manning. Besides it's not like he was openly trading Cutler, if someone came with an offer he listened it's not like he listed him on the trading block.

As for the way he handled it, he could look to Jason Campbell. He was basically looked to be traded to a couple teams, including to Denver for Cutler, and he didn't throw a fit and pout. He came out and said he understood it was a business and would try to play his best no matter where he ended up.

Hakeem Nicks and Danny Ware both expected to miss at least 2, possibly 3 weeks. Damn. But, it could have been worse. Nicks apparently was really close to a Lis Franc injury which can keep out for a year.

A couple of roster moves gonna be coming this week. I'm guessing they cut one of their excess linebackers for Michael Boley and get rid of an OL to bring Allen Patrick off of the practice squad.
