If Taker's "well past his prime" how come he currently holds the record for Match of the Year so far? (In my opinion, true, but it's a popular opinion... HBK certainly didn't carry him in that match)

Good for you in my opinion that match is a vastly overrated botch fest which depended solely on the prestigious names of the two competitors and the 10 minutes of finisher-counter-finisher moves to end the match. There's at least 10 matches from this year that I'd put way above Taker/HBK....

I'm not a Taker basher I think he can still put on a hell of a match I just thoroughly believe that the WM match is overrated. But to each his own.
