I think the Yankees will win the series but I don't think its gonna be easy at all.

The Angels obviously have the depth in the rotation but I think the Yanks are probably gonna go with CC three times in the series if it ends up going 7 games. He'll go on short rest the 4th game and that'll be the only start on short rest.

The Angels lineup isn't that far off from the Yankees.

The one huge advantage the Yankees have is the bullpen I think. Mo-Hughes-Joba-Robertson is just nasty in the late innings. I don't expect the Yankees to own the Angels starting pitching (maybe Saunders), but I can see a lot of games being decided in the late innings.

It won't be a cake walk that's for damn sure. If the Yankees do win the series I'm willing to bet Money it won't happen until game 6 or 7.

Angels match up very well against the Yankees and unlike the Yankees, Angels are playing more motivated for their fallen teammate.

ESPN and other analysts over-reacted big time once Yankees swept the Twins but as usual they forgot Twins are usually horrible against the Yankees in the post-season.

A-Rod always gets his ass raped against in the Angels in the playoffs if I remember correctly. I remember one year him mouthing "fuck you" after he struck out to the Angels bench.

Hell of a game, very disappointing for me, obviously. We were AWFUL with runners in scoring position, 2-14? Shit. That's how we lost the game. Plus a couple timely 3 run shots by the Phillies. It was ridiculous to see how awful Sherill was, when he was money all year for us. Good to see Manny and Loney go yard, but yeah, this is gonna be a hell of a series.

Must win tomorrow for sure. Padilla vs Pedro....

Angles scare the crap out of me. But at least this is a seven game series and not Best of five. Yankees seem to find a way to get out of the ALCS alive. (stfu David Ortiz )

The Nick Adenhart syndrome is gonna hurt us I think, nothing gets players inspired like a fallen teammate. Yankees have to have amazing baseball this series to beat the Angels.

Nice, JJ Putz is willing to have his $8.6 million 2010 option declined for the $1 million buyout, and he wants to re-up with the Mets on a 1-year incentive laden deal instead cause he knows nobody is gonna give him a chance to close.

The Putz-Rod combo never came to fruition in '09 cause Putz re-injured himself...worth a shot to try it again cause the Mets need another arm in the pen and if Putz stays healthy he's a better choice than any other FA reliever.

Congrats on the Yankees first win. I really hope the Yankees can beat the Angels. Is it safe to say yet that Sabathia's "Post season blues" have come to a stop? The Angels got a few breaks too. Like when Nick Swisher lost that ball in the lights. And when A-rod collided with Napoli but Napoli held on to the ball.
