By the way, the trade is really starting to work for Smackdown. Renee, RVD, Booker, and the Dudleys are all in major angles, while Rico (w/ Jackie) has won 1/2 of the tag belts, and Teddy Long, Jindrak, and Spike are still within visibility (on Velocity, but I love that show, so no complaints).

Meanwhile, on RAW: Shelton is absent this week on Raw, Tajiri is jobbing to Coach, and Rhyno, A-Train, Palumbo, and Nidia are nowhere to be seen.

Yeah but you have to realize that Smackdown has loss a lot of talent and need to make up for it. Without Lesnar, Angle, and now Show they need more people on their shows.

While on Raw they haven't loss much.

Anytime I get to see Heyman on TV its a good day.

I like the idea of the Dudleys managed by Heyman. I was saying way before Mania that they need to turn the Dudleys into killers in order to make them worth watching. Good move by WWE. It'll be interesting to see if they add RVD to the faction down the line. I still dont think RVD will really ever get over as a true heel, but I can see it happening. I really think RVD-Eddie should be the major program they go with on Smackdown for the summer. Ive been watching some of their stuff from '02, and it was gold. Ive said before I think Eddie should face RVD face vs face (maybe at Summerslam), and then maybe in a rematch they could have RVD turn, and win the WWE title (I know that'll never happen, but it should). Anyway, then RVD with a faction could provide a solid chase story for Eddie.

Haas/Rico sounds odd, but at least they'll have good matches. If Haas ends up with Jackie and a solid push, it'll be all good.

I didn't like the fact that Long and Jindrak were put on Velocity this week, because I feel with a new character you have to promote him as much as possible, being on Velocity wont do that. Hopefully they at least give them a promo on the show.

Rene Dupree segment sounds funny. I like the idea of Dupree/Cena, but it might be a little too soon. I think it would have been better say for Summerslam after Dupree gets a few more victories. I would guess Cena will go over, but then where does that leave Dupree?

Guess BT is still going with Taker, thats too bad for the Bookerman. Who knows, maybe BT gets a cheesy win after that Mordecai dude debuts. I think thats the only way to make this program work. That way BT gets a huge win (even if it is really cheap) and he can continue to brag that he's better than everyone on Smackdown. Beating Taker would logically make him the #1 contender for the WWE title, which could be done at the Great American Bash in June. Then for Mordecai that would be a great way to make an impact upon his debut. And at the same time it sets up a decent feud for Taker in the Summer.

I see it like this...

Cena goes over in this feud, then Dupree gets to feud with lower end guys to help build himself even more. Then when it's time for Cena to go after the WWE Title, Dupree can feud with Cena again and this time go over.

Thus elevates Dupree to upper mid card status while Cena gets put officially into the main event.

Yeah I just think it puts them in a tricky spot.

Cena is probably the most over full time guy in the company right now so they have to be careful with him. If he sells a lot for Dupree it might hurt him, especially if they dont push Dupree after his feud with Cena. Hopefully they make it close with Dupree, but then after JD Dupree goes on a winning streak so Cena doesn't look weak for having sold do much for Dupree.

I agree when its time for Cena to move on, Dupree would be a great guy to hold the "US" title.

Agree 110%!
I remember that was when Eddie was a heel, and he and RVD were feuding over who had the best frogsplash, but nobody cared why they were fighting as the matches were so awesome.
Anything that puts those two against each other would be great IMO
