More 360's total have broken, doesn't necessarily mean they break 'more often', just that they are early-mid cycle models manufactured by Microsoft, who's architecture (the console's) is flawed in that sometimes the fan in them cannot keep up with the demand for power needed to run the unit, thus causing overheating, leading to the RRoD. However, you can seek out a newer model of 360 called the "Jasper". These units are a lot less prone to the RRoD, due to the fact that certain modifications to the architecture from the first models of 360 have been improved for use in the Jasper models, thus leading to less of a chance of and less instances overall, of overheating leading to a RRoD in them.
