I can only imagine the ovation that Bret is going to get on RAW next week. No doubt will be one of the biggest ones ever. Not Triple H's return at MSG big, but may be close. Nevermind, crowd is completely different now than in 2002, they react differently, less passion involved with the audience now.

WWE better not screw this up.

Apparently the Vince/Shawn promo on RAW was chilling. I definitely hope this leads to Bret vs. Shawn, even with surrogates wrestling for them. Example: Tyson Kidd vs. Bryan Danielson.

TNA is really going to have to bust out some surprises to make people forget about The Hitman's return.

I think WWE is more concerned about the Fiesta Bowl (in which 2 undefeated teams are playing each other) than TNA.

I understand the reasoning for those who are urging everyone to watch TNA, but in all reality, it's ignorant to believe that they have a fighting chance come Monday. They might, MIGHT, equal the ratings they normally get in their Thursday slot.

TNA thought they had a shot with Hogan. But as many have already said, Hogan has hung around and made himself all too common to long. It was great back in 02 when he was back in WWE for the first time in a long time. But it's soon to be 2010, and Hogan makes a "comeback" seemingly every other year. It's nothing special anymore. Not to mention, Hogan didn't come out of his son's car accident debacle and divorce with his wife looking like a saint. His public image took a dramatic dive. And with the divorce, one has to wonder how strapped for cash he really is.

Bret's a whole 'nother story. Here's a guy who was the main cog in arguably the biggest moment in wrestling history. The "screwjob" was the catapult for so much. Without it, we may have never had the Attitude era. Bret's disdain for Vince and his company is incredibly well documented, and may by far be the biggest topic of discussion for any era of wrestling. It's been 12 years, Bret's been through a lot, and minus some book signings and one off in ring appearances, Bret's stayed away from mainstream wrestling. This is the biggest news this decade. Bret Hart is finally coming home. Anyone who would even slightly fathom not tuning in, at the very least for the opening segment, just to try and start a new Monday Night War, is kidding themselves.

anyway TNA have already done what they set out to do on this 'mission', get the attention of the WWE and say ' hey look, you're not the only dog in town' and they have done that already, why else would you see bret hart back in the WWE?

Plus TNA has us all talking. This is a success, no matter how badly it does ratings-wise. It just depends on if they follow up or let everything go in the shitter.

This is going to be interesting. On a more serious note, bret most likely will not be in any physical altercations. I do foresee a face to face confrontation with shawn michaels and vince in the ring. Bret will probably give shawn his shot at undertaker if he beats vince in a match or something.
