Nick Halling who covers NFL over here said that if the Jets win then the Bengals will play the Ravens next week. Is that right? Yahoo generator says otherwise.

It probably is occurring from this tie-breaker since they both have same overall record and conference record.

Go Bengals. Nothing against the Jets, but I can definitely see myself rooting for the Texans in the playoffs. Not only would it be their first playoff appearance, but Schaub/Johnson carried me to the finals this year.

Yeah. With the Jets and their defense, had a quarterback that wasn't prone to making mistakes, I'd say play to win. But Sanchez will get toasted in the playoffs. Schaub/Johnson are not a duo I'd like to face.

It's not like Green Bay has won 7 of 8 and was a last second TD away from going 8-0 in the second half or anything.

Seems like a flashback what with a decent division lead collapse, a game against KC where we surrender over 300 yards rushing and the qb just throwing ints to everyone in the stadium.

Although with a lot of the genius' around here predicting 2-4 wins for them this season since they lost the next great qb I'd say it wasn't a total loss, more like a push.

It'd end up being pretty hilarious if the Jets win next week, then go on to upset the Colts in the 2nd round after the Colts let them into the playoffs.

And yeah, it's pretty clear the Bengals want no part of the Texans, who would be a much tougher match up. Houston beat Cincinnati in Cincy earlier this year, too.

Yeah, brain fart on my part -- I just assumed that the Jets would've been the 6th seed if they won, for some reason.

With that said, I do think the Pats beat Baltimore, but it won't be easy without Welker and with Brady banged up.
