Yeah, it sucks. Giants are gonna have to play the South. Manning Bowl II and the Schaub/Johnson Connection sound horrifying when I imagine the Giants' secondary this year...hopefully it will be shored up by then.

Not really even that upset tonight, because I like the Jets and I hope they go far. Bengals shouldn't have done as well as they did this year and they finally got exposed. But at least they made it to the next level.

Cowboys are probably going to win the Super Bowl, because it's still the 2009 season and everything sports related in 2009 has to be something I fucking hate. Therefore, it'll likely be the Cowboys vs. Patriots or something and I'll be forced to root for the Pats like I did when they played the Eagles

Yeah also kinda hoping for the Colts. Would be a great "story" if they actually beat the two teams in the playoffs that helped them "back in" to shut up people like Mike Francesa.

Both excited and nervous for the Green Bay game today -- there's so much more riding on it than meets the eye. It would be embarrassing to be the only team to lose one of the three "repeat" games this week after winning last week, and if the Packers lose all the fake Vikings fans that only became "fans" because they're following Favre are going to have a field day (even though it's pretty clear that the Packers wouldn't be any better off with Favre).

Even if they win, I'm worried about going to New Orleans. Despite their recent problems and not trying to win for the past month, they're still too good of a team to go down 4 straight games without a fight. The thought of Drew Brees abusing Jarrett Bush and the rest of the Packers' secondary not named Charles Woodson scares the crap out of me (not the case with Warner, since he's old and slow and is about to get rocked by Clay Matthews).

As far as other teams go, the Cowboys are definitely impressive, and I'd love nothing more than to see Favre continue his struggles against Dallas, but at the same time it wouldn't surprise me to see them fall short of the Super Bowl. They strike me as the kind of team that's about to get a little too full of themselves, and I still don't have confidence in Wade Phillips' ability to keep their eyes on the prize.

I don't think Wade Phillips is that good of a coach at all. Coming from behind to win the East and winning a playoff game will save his job, but I swear every time they show him on the sidelines he's got that same dumb expression on his face and he never seems to fire up his team.

If I was a player, Phillips would not motivate me to play for him.

As for who I want the Jets to play next, I've been thinking about it a lot but I've decided I couldn't care less now. Bring San Diego or Indianapolis on. We've already been to Indianapolis, and the Bengals had a very close game with the Chargers at Qualcomm 3 weeks ago, so nothing to fear.
