Just carefully remove the warranty sticker and and put it back afterward. No one will know the difference, not even Microsoft apparently.

I believe on newer models, they use a different style that's really tough to peel off all at once.

I only know of two: the old silver strip and the newer bigger, paper one.

I've pulled off both and the paper one is easy as pie to rip off. The old silver strip was hard because it's really easy to leave some of the silver bits behind.

I guess I got it mixed up then. I was talking about the silver one. I could never get it off.
