Yeah I really can't beleive the responses to this thread didn't kick off with "Wow, Val Venis goes to TNA and now Noid is taking up their defense, who'd have thought?"
For me it's the usual deal with TNA. The stuff that's been said already has true to varying degrees, but the problem with TNA remains that, while they have a number of decent things going on, they still can't gel together a conistently good show. They have a good list of ingredients but the recipe is just way off. |

Eh... I really hope TNA brings in some big name guys from oversea's for the PPV. I think TNA's X Division is lacking in strength and wouldn't be able to support a good 3hr ppv. And I can't stand Amazing Red, I mean I could kick his ass, why would I want to watch him go up against actual wrestlers? I just don't believe him.

Um in 2008 the finals of the World X Cup took place at Victory Road, and in 2006 it took place at Sacrifice, with a tie breaker on a following iMPACT!. The other ones took place before the Destination X PPV ever existed. And the only international talent I've heard of coming to TNA is Kazuchika Okada, who does somewhat fit the X division style, but he's coming for a year or so.

Watching TNA this week, I came to the conclusion that I think they would benefit with a second show. The way their programming has so much going on, there are a lot of guys who aren't used, and they have that "Attitude era" mess vibe to them -- I think it would fit their pacing to have, say, a Monday show and a Thursday show. Desmond Wolfe, Beer Money, Daniels, Homicide, Amazing Red, Brian Kendrick, The Motor City Machine Guns, Suicide, Sean Morley, Jay Lethal, Dr. Stevie, Raven, Tara, ODB, Awesome Kong, Hamada, Taylor Wilde, Sarita and even Jeff Hardy (although I've got no clue what is going on with him) were all TNA talent that were left off this week's broadcast. For understandable reasons, too. I personally feel that a second show would help each guy get weekly face time. |

No actually I haven't. My TNA fandom has had its ups and downs. I was with them from the beginning for about 2 years on PPV, then just here and there online until about September. So I never have seen the World X Cup, although I have herd about it. It seems ideal for the Destination X PPV, but it won't draw any big money against Wrestlemania.
