I hate that whole "Terrell Owens is a locker room poison" horseshit. When he was in Dallas the media always tried to make trouble where there wasn't any. They interviewed Marcus Spears I believe on one of the local radio shows and all the interviewers could ask was "What has TO done lately? Has he divided the locker room up because of his ego?" Spears was like "Nah man TO is cool. He's fun to be around and does a lot of nice stuff for us."

I don't really see it being that big of a deal. The Bengals only went and got him because Palmer asked them to so he knows what's going on.

Doesn't look like Tebow gained much from holding out since right now only the $200,000 extra in guaranteed cash and same 5 year deal that Dez Bryant got. Initial reports had Tebow get $33 million as a max value vs Dez Bryant $11 million but Dez's max value didn't get released so far.

Raiders 1st round pick (#8 overall) signs for 5 year deal at $40 million and is highest draft picked signed so far.

Going into camp Foxworth was one of the two healthy Ravens in their secondary. Now their top 3 CBs and Ed Reed are all out. Looks like Ty Law might be getting a call earlier than usual this year.

It wouldn't be at the level of distraction of when Brady was expecting his 1st child or like a few previous players who hated being "tagged" but contract disputes can become messy if it lasts over the season.

Kraft basically got cornered into this situation since he persuaded Brady years ago to leave money on the table to make the team better so naturally Brady wants some of that money back. At the same time he is part of the group of owners who are expected to meet with the union to discuss reducing salaries and wreck-less spending.

Everyone knows the Patriots are cheap, I wouldn't be surprised if a deal never got done, and Brady went elsewhere. Not likely, but I wouldnt be shocked given the history of the Patriots and paying players.
