Of course, the reason they killed the angle was the 7-7 subway bombings coinciding with an episode in which Hassan and a bunch of guys in commando attire attacked the Undertaker and Daivari was "martyred," and not so much objection to the gimmick itself.

Which is why I ridiculed what you said with the homosexuality crack, actually. It misses the point, yes, but only by the same margin with which you missed it.

But seriously, do you remember the last time an angle involving homosexuality, directly or indirectly, was canceled due to the outrage of gays? Even the joke that was Billy and Chuck still got...What's that word? Praise.

It's almost like the notion of fan outrage is utterly ridiculous.

I'm sure you'll find a way to say "that's different," just as I'm sure you'll find a way to still attempt to contrast it with Hassan despite needing to leave out the catylist that caused them to pull the angle.

Unless you're worried that three weeks into the gay angle, a Pride terrorist is going to go blow up a local swap meet. Because yes, if gay terrorists wreck some shit during this angle, it could get ugly.
