Kane is an obvious choice. He's jobbed to just about everyone, but has somehow found a way to remain relevant, as well as be considered a legit threat. He deserves, at the very least, a transitional run on SmackDown!.
Christian is another guy who has to be given some strong consideration. His tenure as ECW champ was probably the most well-booked title run in years. Not only did he look strong while carrying the title, he made everyone who stepped in the ring look just as good. And he made the damn thing actually mean something. His work rate is right up there with the top guys in the company. And most importantly, he's not only over, but does a helluva job of getting the crowd involved in his matches. I want to say Morrison, but I just don't think he's over enough right now. I didn't catch SmackDown! last night, but Morrison's crowd reactions, while not bad by any means, are not even upper mid card level. I think he needs to have a defining fued with someone who's already there so that he can be elevated to that level. I would love to see a series of matches between Morrison and Jericho to help elevate JoMo to the top tier of SD!. But as of right now, he's not ready. I'd also like to sya Dyasty, but they just turned face. Let them get built up and run through evey tag team for a bit before throwing the belts on them. It would mean more for them to actually have to work for another shot and build heat for ShoMiz for dodging them rather than just putting the straps on them. If they continue to build the miz the way they have been as of late, then he needs to be elevated and be the guy who gets his first run at the top. He's a heat magnet, has become one of the very best in the company on the mic, and his ring work has been getting better and better. |
